In addition, East Silent Resort is situated in the heart of Otter Tail Country – home to over 1,000 lakes! That's 10 percent of Minnesota's 10,000 beautiful lakes, and a great reason to go fishing, swimming, sailing, water-skiing or just relaxing on the beach.

Looking for activities off the water? East Silent Resort is only minutes from Perham, Pelican Rapids, Detroit Lakes, and Fergus Falls. These surrounding communities offer a variety of unique stores, entertainment, and restaurants. Kids will enjoy the miniature golf courses, go-carts, and horseback riding. Throughout the year, these local communities also host several art shows, music fairs, carnivals and community festivals...including the world famous Perham Turtle Races.
