		Maplewood State Park
		Located just seven miles from East Silent Resort. With over 9,250 acres of woods, eight major lakes and several ponds, this state-protected habitat is great for hiking, bird watching, biking, horseback riding, snowmobiling, swimming, and fishing.
		Glendalough State Park
		Located 20 miles from East Silent Resort and offers more than nine miles of undeveloped Otter Tail County shoreline and six lakes. This park offers excellent fishing, bird watching, and hiking trails through oaks and northern hardwood forests.
		Banded Gand'r Outfitters
		Offering duck and goose hunts each fall. They are based out of Fergus Falls, which is a major staging area for waterfowl migrating from Canada and northern Minnesota. This is one of the hottest hunting areas in Minnesota.
